Window History: Lanes of Condit
John and Susanna (Spearman) Lane, both born and wed in Devonshire, England, came between 1860 and 1862 to Ohio via way of Canada where their first two daughters, Mary and Martha, were born, There 3rd child, John T,. was born in Ohio 11-9-1962, Minnie (1866), George Fenton (8-29-1867), William (1869), Jesse (1871), Hannah M (1873), Lavina (1876), and Albert E. (1879). The family lived on a farm in Porter Township, Delaware County, Ohio, in 1870. John Spearman, William Spearman, and Mulford Spearman lived with the Lanes in 1870 census
George marriied Laura Belle Rinehart, daughter of John N. and Romancy (Huddlestun) Rinehart also of Porter Township. They moved to Berkshire Township and then to Trenton Township farm just northwest of the 605 & 37 intersection.
They were the parents of Charles R., George Fenton, Nellie, Thomas Dean and Pauline Harriet.
